April 2018:
After 7 years in Kaiserswerther Straße 115 we did some changes and moved to a new location. From April 2018 you can find us in Josef-Schappe-Straße 21 (it is still in Ratingen). The new address offers a lot of advantages to our customers:
Now we are not only perfectly connected to the Autobahn-network. Also customers reaching us by public transportation have it easier now: our office is located right at the S-Bahn station „Ratingen Ost“.
Januar 2018:
Our payment conditions for new individual customers changed due to an increased amount of cash losses and bad payment moral. Individual customers filing their first translation request to us have to deposit an amount of 50% of the estimated translation costs, min. 50 Euro. This amount will be offset against the final invoice amount once the translation will be ready.
2015
In August 2015 we are to enter the international market opening our site in English and Russian and using a registered mark „Translagency (R)“. The mark has been designed for us by Bernadette Goossens.
Since June 2015 we have had a new site: modern, customer friendly and responsive to all mobile devices.
Since the beginning of March 2015 we have been offering a customer hotline around the clock. Now we are even better connected with our customers and can react even faster on customer demands. A professional customer hotline occupied 24 hours on all 7 days in a week is unusual for the translation industry. With it we are one of the pioneers and market leaders.
2014
August 2014: the old internet domain of Übersetzungsbüro Buchanow is finally switched off.
March 2014: Übersetzungsbüro Buchanow is moving to a new and more expressive domain: www.translations.com.de. At the same time a new website is created from scratch.
2010
Intracom Services Ltd. and Übersetzungsbüro Buchanow merge. Intracom Services Ltd. is fully absorbed by Übersetzungsbüro Buchanow, the register entry of Intracom Services Ltd. in the industrial registry in Germany and in Companies House in Great Britain is cancelled.

Intracom Services Ltd. wins a price of Mittelstandsförderprogramms (SMB support program).
2007
Intracom Services Ltd. is founded and takes over all commercial customers of Übersetzungsbüro Buchanow. Übersetzungsbüro Buchanow retains the function of a subcontractor for other translation agencies in languages German and Russian and offers its services to courts and other governmental authorities for orders in the above languages.
2006
Übersetzungsbüro Buchanow wins a first price in the Mittestandsförderprogramm (SMB support program). Thanks to this American Express becomes a vigorous partner of Übersetzungsbüro Buchanow. With immediate effect Übersetzungsbüro Buchanow accepts credit cards of American Express as a payment option.
2002
Übersetzungsbüro Buchanow moves into the new office in Krefeld.
1999
Foundation of Übersetzungsbüro Buchanow in Erkrath-Hochdahl (Germany).
